
Chris Price becomes new Managing Director in UK
E&K AUTOMATION Ltd, the English branch of the German transport robotics specialist E&K AUTOMATION GmbH, is starting the second half of the year with a new Managing Director. From July 1, 2020, Chris Price (48) joins the transport robotic specialist. With this appointment the company, which is one of the leading manufacturers of Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) in the European marketplace, has gained a proven industry expert for its UK business.ased on numerous innovative and digital features.
Experienced professional from the transport and intralogistics industry
Chris Price has previously worked for some of the largest and most renowned companies in the transport and intralogistics industry and has more than 20 years of experience in this segment. The experienced manager, who has helped various national and international companies to success during his professional life, will be supported in his new position by Mike Burke, who has been with E&K in the UK for 34 years, and MD for the last eight. He will continue to support the business as Operations Director and be responsible for project management and existing customer business in the UK. Mike Burke, who is currently Vice President of the Automated Material Handling Systems Association (AMHSA), is looking forward to working with the new Managing Director.
