Avancon was formed in 2014 by Mr Dieter Specht, who was the co-founder of Interroll. The Headquarters are in Riazzino, in the beautiful Ticino region of Switzerland.
The company employs 50 full time staff, with many based at Riazzino. There are also subsidiaries around the globe including Southern Europe, North America, South Korea (Asia) and UK (UK, Ireland & NORDICS).
Avancon manufacture a unique and patented Zone Powered Conveyor (ZPC) product, along with Omni-Directional Transfer Unit (OTU) transfer and divert modules. The business model is based on partnerships with trusted and capable OEM’s, System Integrators (SI) and Special Machinery Manufacturers (SMM). Avancon never approach or do business with the End User, instead we empower and support companies who offer integration services. In fact, we encourage our partners and customers to brand our equipment as their own, we are more than happy to see this!

All Avancon products are manufactured and assembled in Riazzino itself, or sourced from multiple supplier bases all within 100kms of the factory. This is an important aspect for us, a reliable and local supply chain. This in turn enables us to offer leadtimes of maximum 12 weeks, with many products having significantly shorter delivery times.
The roots of Avancon lie within the Intralogistics industry, but we are not limited to this sector. We have succesfully deployed hundreds of airport X-Ray and CT scanner security lane systems across the world, with this part of our business growing year on year.
With the addition of new subsidiaries we aim to increase market share globally over the coming years, and continue to provide the highest quality products and service.
